    You over did it. This is very common when first starting into or back into a workout regimen. The viscous cycle is: don’t workout for a long time, workout and get overly sore or hurt yourself, stop workout out for a long time, repeat!

    This cycle can be broken by starting all workouts gradually and by only performing 1 to 2 sets per exercise to start.

    However, once you’re already very sore, the best thing to do is rest and eat! Eat every 3 hours and make sure your meals contain proteins and carbohydrates so your body can utilize those nutrients to recover more quickly!
