Absolutely! We strongly advocate both. However, stretch properly and avoid over stretching so you avoid injury. Follow the stretching guidelines in the online fitness center under “start here” in the menu above.
You should also be careful when taking yoga or other group classes. One on one instructions allows the instructor to help you ensure proper and safe form. However, in group classes, it is up to you to pay attention to your body and listen to the limits that it communicates to you through strain!
