Processed meats are those marvelous lunch meats, sausages, and chicken nuggets that we either eat cold or pop into the microwave, usually for a quick snack. Believe me when I say nothing has been processed with more chemicals than these foods, and if I were to tell you what was in most of them – you would swear off them for eternity. Suffice it to say that this stuff is poison. You do not need it in your body. Your children do not need it in their bodies. No matter how yummy the manufacturer has made this fake meat taste, it is not healthy. Now don’t get me wrong, there is some meat in there, but it is so adulterated with chemicals, that it scarcely resembles genuine meat. If I ate this crap, I would get sicker than a dog because I am used to real meat and fish that has no fillers or additives. The fresher, the better. That means visiting your local farmer’s market, or your butcher for pure, healthy, unprocessed meat. It’s better for the environment, too.
