Sodas have been a source of taste delight for children and adults for close to 200 years. Not only are they tasty to the palate, but they are essentially quite addictive to many folks. For these individuals, water is just repulsive. Many problems arise from the use and abuse of sodas. Even so-called diet sodas can lead to weight gain. Sugary or sweet drinks also contribute to tooth decay, and we’ve all seen someone – maybe even ourselves – with an open can or bottle of soda pop while they are driving, or engaged in some other focused activity.
