Heart problems can range from arrhythmia, angina, previous heart attack, chest pain, arterial blockage, and many other problems. Some of the prescribed medications can also hinder your ability to work out or eat certain foods. When it comes to cardiac problems, you must see a cardiologist and get his or her approval as to what type of exercise you can and cannot do, and at what level and how many times you can exercise per week. Your cardiologist may wholeheartedly embrace a clean diet and both weight training and cardiovascular exercise. There is no excuse for you to bypass this rule of thumb.
