Congratulations! You are in phenomenal shape-or you are taking beta blockers and your heart rate is being suppressed-be careful. You can try putting the incline slightly up but no more than 2.0. You can also try a light jog instead of a walk. Talking while your walking can help.

If you are taking beta blockers, be careful and check back in with your doctor. Beta Blockers are sometimes used to control irregular heartbeats. When taken in conjunction with other blood pressure medications such as ace inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, etc. they can cause a rapid reduction in blood pressure to offset your activity level which could cause you to pass out. Check in with your coach and health care professional if you are experiencing this issue immediately!
