1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
2. Cut out holes in apples in order to stuff.
3. Rinse and dry off the apples
4. Use either an apple corer or a pairing knife and cut out the apple cores. Be sure to leave the 1/2 inch on the bottom of the apple (do not cut all the way through).
5. If you are using a pairing knife, cut the stem area out first and then use a small metal spoon in order to scoop out the seeds. Cut the holes so that they are an inch wide.
6. Scoop nutmeg, vanilla extract, Splenda, and cinnamon mixture and place equally inside each apple. Blend lightly inside each apple.
7. Pour the boiling water into the bottom of the baking dish.
8. Bake apples at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 30-45 minutes. DO this until the apples are cooked through but not mushy and overcooked.
When finished, remove apples from the oven and baste them with the juice in the pan.
